ÉPISODE 2/7 : L’union des médecines – le SAM d’Orthez

Le SAM (service d’accompagnement dans la maladie) de l’hôpital d’Orthez a ouvert ses portes au premier trimestre 2020. Ce jeune service est très innovant. Son objectif : soulager les patient.e.s des effets collatéraux de maladies diverses. Pour ce faire, une équipe pluridisciplinaire très motivée anime ce service au travers de différentes approches : consultations en médecine générale, acupuncture, hypnose, massage, chant, théâtre, karaté, nutrition…

Le SAM nous a ouvert ses portes, nous souhaitions connaître ce service, son fonctionnement, mais surtout ce qui a motivé les deux médecins fondatrices à porter un tel projet. Face à nos caméras, Christine Coste, Sylvie Charrier et Sylvie Marsaleix partagent leurs approches respectives de la médecine, les facteurs déterminants qui, selon elles, entrent en cause dans le processus de guérison. Elles nous livrent également leurs motivations profondes, à la base de ce projet, de celles que l’on va chercher au fond du cœur.
