Il a posté une vidéo éloquente sur les réseaux sociaux, où il apporte des informations essentielles sur les causes des incendies qui ravagent aujourd’hui (et ce n’est pas nouveau !) la forêt amazonienne, dans le cadre de la déforestation massive de ce réservoir mondial de vie et de biodiversité.
Nous avons aimé son analyse aussi pertinente qu’interpellante !

Pourquoi brûle-t-on la forêt amazonienne ?
Pour déforester et créer de l’espace pour des terres agricoles, principalement pour la culture intensive du soja transgénique destiné à nourrir le bétail dans le monde entier, et notamment en Europe.

Il nous appelle à nous responsabiliser : ces incendies sont la conséquence directe des politiques de nos gouvernements, mais aussi de notre mode alimentaire. La consommation massive de viande est la cause directe de la politique de déforestation qui sévit en Amazonie. Tant que nous ne changerons pas de mode alimentaire, nous ne pourrons pas changer les choses… réduire notre consommation de produits animaux est devenu une nécessité environnementale.
